چکیده

The transcription factors T-bet and GATA3 are important reciprocal determinants of Th1 and Th2 T helper cell differentiation. Recent evidence suggests that these factors may affect airway immunopathology in asthma.

بررسی بیان ژن های T-bet و Gata-3در بیماران مبتلا به آسم آلرژیک

Background and purpose: Allergic asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease identified by high response to allergens and excessive air ways edema. T-bet and GATA-3 are two transcriptional factors that differentiate Th1 and Th2 from Tnaive. In this study, we examined the expression levels of these two factors in patients with allergic asthma incomparison with healthy controls. Material and meth...

IL-6 activated integrated BATF/IRF4 functions in lymphocytes are T-bet-independent and reversed by subcutaneous immunotherapy

IL-6 plays a central role in supporting pathological T(H2) and T(H17) cell development and inhibiting the protective T regulatory cells in allergic asthma. T(H17) cells have been demonstrated to regulate allergic asthma in general and T-bet-deficiency-induced asthma in particular. Here we found an inverse correlation between T-bet and Il-6 mRNA expression in asthmatic children. Moreover, experi...

بررسی بیان ژن های T-bet و GATA-3 در کودکان مبتلا به آسم آلرژیک در مقایسه با گروه شاهد

Background and purpose: Allergic asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder with increased inflammation and bronchial over react to stimulants. Th1 and Th2 cells are the main cells involved in the pathophysiology of asthma. The function of these cells is under the influence of T-bet and GATA3 transcription factors. This study aimed to investigate the impairment of immune responses in patients wi...

Intranasal delivery of T-bet modulates the profile of helper T cell immune responses in experimental asthma.

BACKGROUND Allergic asthma is caused by aberrant helper T (T(H)) type 2 immune responses in susceptible individuals, characterized by airway hyperresponsiveness, chronic airway inflammation, and mucus hypersecretion. Its prevalence continues to increase, but optimal treatment remains a challenge. The transcription factor T-bet is a master regulator of T(H)1 lineage commitment and strongly promo...

T-bet polymorphisms are associated with asthma and airway hyperresponsiveness.

RATIONALE T-bet (TBX21 or T-box 21) is a critical regulator of T-helper 1 lineage commitment and IFN-gamma production. Knockout mice lacking T-bet develop airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) to methacholine, peribronchial eosinophilic and lymphocytic inflammation, and increased type III collagen deposition below the bronchial epithelium basement membrane, reminiscent of both acute and chronic asth...
